Privacy & GDPR

EU Cup keeps the public experience simple while protecting private contact details for organizers and participants.

01

What is public

  • Dog name, EU Cup ID number, breed, country, team, height and competition results may be shown publicly.
  • Owner names, handler contact details, email addresses and phone numbers are never shown on public pages.
  • Public dog profiles are about the dog and its sports history, not about the owner.
02

Why private data is stored

  • To contact the team captain about registration, payment, schedule changes and event information.
  • To reach the right person if a dog is injured, equipment is damaged, or a safety incident needs follow-up.
  • To verify team entries and prevent duplicate or incorrect registrations.
  • To correct results or dog information when a writing error is discovered.
03

Organizer access

  • Private data is available only to authorized event organizers who need it for the competition.
  • Live rankings are private during the event and published only after official confirmation.
  • The production system should keep access logs for important organizer actions.
04

Participant rights

  • Participants can ask EU Cup to correct inaccurate private information.
  • Participants can ask what private data is stored about them.
  • Deletion requests can be handled after the event unless EU Cup must keep limited data for safety, accounting, result integrity or legal reasons.
